Agaves Kitchen Tequila in Long Beach

Went for halloween, bartenders were really easy on the eyes and could mix um with the best.

Well worth going. We didn't have a problem with service and the food is great. A must have is their Guacamole with bacon. So yummy

Amazing. Here by myself and new to Long Beach, I’m thrilled I found this place. Food was amazing! Started off with the winter Sangria which has a heavy spiced rum. I would leave that for dessert. The summer sangria also shown in the pictures was light and so yummy. I had the chicken tacos. Now this will sound weird but the beans were amazing! So were the tacos, but I wasn’t expecting it from a side like the beans. So, so good. Can’t recommend enough.

Julia has set the standard every time we’ve been here. She’s been kind, sweet and makes sure want to turn up. We recommended her for everyone, always ask for Julia you won’t regret it.

Be careful! Always doble check the transaction when you pay with card! Because the bartenders add their tip even when you don’t tip them.

Met here with some friends for a birthday party had a blast I don't drink but my friends do and they said the drinks were delicious

The patio is great for day time brunching...a nice relaxed atmosphere. The bar is kinda retro and has great style. The bartender Lee Dawn was awesome amd her drinks were great tasting!!!

We were arriving into Santa Barbara from our home 2 1/2 hours away. Before checking into our hotel, I yelped lunch places to eat as we were getting hungry. Los Agaves came up with good reviews. We thought, what the heck, we'll try it. So happy we did. Great menu selections. We had the Agaves Enchilada dish. Delish! This enchilada dish has fresh halibut, shrimp, onions, red peppers covered with chipotle sauce. It came with a salad with fruit and mango dressing. Yum. The rice tasted good, but a little too oily for me, so that item was left on my plate. The parking behind the restaurant is tiny. Had to really work at getting our car into a parking spot. Otherwise, you can park on the street. We came at lunch time on a Monday and it was not crowded. Maybe a dozen patrons. Chips and salsa are complimentary. You order at the counter, and place your displayed number on your table, and server brings your food. Quick and easy. Will definitely come back to this place .

Friday nights are the very best with DJ Nonfiktion and other great DJs always performing greatness there. Plus now it's expanded and you get to enjoy even more. Never the same but always great!!! Other nights are good too there, great drinks, great staff, but I love fridays especially though.

Best place in Long Beach for Thursday nights!! Great crowd. Music is always good and the people are always dancing and having fun!! The Margaritas are delicious and the bar tenders are beautiful

Opens too late, while other restaurants in the area have been open for a couple hours. Pricey as well. On a positive note the food is good and many TV's as well.

Just an ok place to eat. Tequila is on point here, so I'd recommend going somewhere else to eat stop by here for a tequila drink then go somewhere else to finish the night. The atmosphere is to tight and cramped for dancing at night yet people still try to and its just a disaster.

Place was nice, food was great, but service was terrible! We were a group of 10 and there were only two other couples in the restaurant at the time. Drinks took the longest to make it to our table...food took even longer! They only brought out two plates at a time with a 5 minute gap between the other plates so by the time everyone had their food the first people were done eating. Having more that one waitress might be a great idea during dinner time.

Great food and great service are to be had at Next Door by Agaves. I would highly recommend it for excellent Mexican food!

Didn't really enjoy the nightclub part of it empty and the DJ didn't blend music well. But the drinks were great expensive but great

I met a new friend here a few weeks back and although I'm not a huge fan of of Tequila we ordered a tasting flight of four premium tequilas and they were exceptional. We let the waiter who was quite personable and very fun pic our appetizers which were delicious. He also suggested a mixed drink that was tequila and cucumber juice I believe that was to die for. Great booths and ambiance. A great evening on Pine Avenue...tax & tip out the door was right around a c-note.

I stopped at this place while I was in town for a hair/nail convention. There was a cover charge, but it didn't cover toilet paper, nor paper towels. The bathroom was a mess! One bathroom, per sex, for a night club... genius. While I stood in the huge line to use the restroom, I could see men across the way using the urinal.... classy. As I exited the bathroom, there were people using drugs (snorting) out in open! There was a girl sitting on a guy, on seating , dry humping him! We were overcharged at the bar, but it was resolved. The music was old music. The atmosphere lacked excitement. At the end of the night, the security yelled at the top of their lungs, "EVERYBODY GET THE F*** OUT!!" No professionalism.

Add Carnitas fajitas that tasted good but we're still very oily. We were lucky enough to have a two-for-one coupon. However they would not honor the happy hour pricing for margaritas because of that coupon so that's why the three rating

This place gets packed at night especially during happy hour. The promoters are often outside handing out coupons for two for one drinks. Meanwhile most of the people inside are still eating dinner and finishing up their food. With the coupons the drinks are worth it. At normal price, a wells drink for $11 doesn't cut it.The bartenders here are a hit or miss. Some get their job done quick while others take forever to make a drink. This place is small so there's definitely not enough sitting area. The tables are reserved for people who will order food.

I came here tonight for taco Tuesday. I arrived at the very tail end of happy hour. My server was Julia who was extremely attentive and even gave us some HH drinks even though we were a few minutes late. I had the carnitas and baja tacos and they were delicious. Also had the standard and watermelon margherita and both were excellent. I'll definitely be back.

I'm fairly new to the city and this was my first time hanging out at a club/lounge out here. I can say we had a fabulous birthday celebration. Music was perfect and our seat was next to the Dj booth which was just right for me. I love music and I love to dance. I recommend this place for sure.
